Job Summary
Oversee daily shift operations ensuring mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry work orders are completed properly and timely to meet safety and service standards. Direct staff through recruitment, hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews while enforcing attendance policies and safety procedures. Manage emergency responses, secure key inventory, and maintain ongoing knowledge of all facility systems and building mechanics. Prepare department progress reports for senior management and implement best practices to ensure consistent product presentation and guest satisfaction. Work varying schedules to reflect unpredictable hospitality industry needs, utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to track financial metrics and operational data.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- Moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least twenty-five (25) pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Close vision
- Distance vision

- Peripheral vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests

- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations
- Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property
Desired Qualifications
- Second language
- Advanced knowledge of field concepts, principles, practices and procedures
- Significant experience creating, tracking and controlling financial metrics
- Strong supervisory and communication skills
- Must have working ability with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Familiarity w/ building systems, HVAC, Plumbing, Kitchen Mechanics, etc.
