Job Summary
Shift Manager in F&B leading a cohesive management team to recruit, train, coach, and develop staff; maximize sales and profits by managing cost centers; ensure safety, sanitation, and high service standards; maintain budgets and guest satisfaction; oversee staffing levels, scheduling, and POS operations, with a focus on delivering consistent quality and a guest-centric experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field AND two (2) years' experience in a Supervisory position OR four (4) years' experience in a Management position OR two (2) years' experience in a Supervisory position within Resorts World
- Six (6) years' related food and beverage experience
- Must be able to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the New York State Gaming regulations
- Fluency in English required, second language a plus
- Working knowledge of the POS system
- Ability to open and close procedures, run reports, beverage knowledge, team building and employee focus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and make right decisions for the business
