Job Summary

Take full accountability for the daily operation and performance of the assigned production group by maintaining an active presence on the production floor to observe processes, understand challenges, and identify improvement opportunities through GEMBA. Maintain close and continuous dialogue with operators to gather insights, provide support, and ensure engagement in daily production and improvement activities. Collaborate closely with other production groups and cross-functional functions within the factory area to ensure aligned priorities, efficient workflows, and fast resolution of disturbances affecting safety, quality, delivery, or efficiency. Lead, coordinate, and follow up on continuous improvement and Kaizen activities, ensuring that improvements are implemented and sustained in daily operations. Organize and conduct training, certifications, and onboarding activities for new and existing operators, including introducing structured training plans. Ensure the right level of competence on the shift and drive competence development. Act as a visible, accessible, and supportive leader, fostering a positive and safe working environment in line with company values and policies. Ensure clear and open communication between operators, management, and other groups within the factory, including follow-up and communication of department KPIs to the team and site management. Drive and maintain high standards in safety, quality, and delivery, including responsibility for internal quality targets, on-time delivery, safety inspections, and weekly 5S audits with related improvements. Participate in the development and updating of SOPs as a sponsor, ensuring alignment across groups and adherence to standard ways of working. Manage administrative and leadership responsibilities, including approval of time reports, follow-up of KPIs, and full people-management responsibility such as annual performance and development reviews, salary discussions, rehabilitation, and work environment responsibility.

  • Experience of medical device is an advantage
