Job Summary
Shift Manager responsible for planning, managing and coordinating the shift in Coventry. Core hours are 10:00am–6:00pm with potential to work across different shift patterns to meet demand. Responsibilities include ensuring high service levels, monitoring handovers between departments, coordinating shift activities (productivity, cost control, resource utilization, service achievement), and on-site Health & Safety during the shift. Requires flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and may involve travel to other Syncreon sites locally and abroad to support operations.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience within a logistics background at a Shift Manager level
- Competent with Warehouse Management Systems and MS-Office
- Good level of Maths and English
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible in line with operational requirements
- Ability to travel locally and abroad to support other Syncreon sites as required
