Job Summary
This role supports Cafe Rio’s fast-paced, high-energy restaurant operations by assisting in running a multimillion-dollar, made-from-scratch concept. You’ll lead, develop and mentor a team of 15+ employees, coach staff to advance roles, interact with customers, and help drive guest satisfaction. The position requires 2+ years of management experience in a busy restaurant, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexible availability (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays). You’ll learn to manage operations and participate in hands-on training to advance a career in restaurant leadership.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Proof of valid driver’s license
- Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- 2 or more years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry managing a team of 15 or more employees at a time, interacting frequently with customers, and coaching employees to assume increasingly challenging roles
- Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays, as well as work weeks that may at times exceed 40 hours
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
