Job Summary
Shift Manager position at Cafe Rio Mexican Grill. Responsible for learning to run a multimillion-dollar restaurant, leading and mentoring staff, and delivering a high-energy guest experience. You’ll develop leadership and restaurant-management skills, oversee daily operations, coach team members, and ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Requires 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Two or more years of management experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, with English/Spanish bilingual a plus. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Proof of valid driver’s license
- Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8 plus hrs.
- 2 or more years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry managing a team of 15 or more employees
- Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays, as well as work weeks that may at times exceed 40 hours
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
