Job Summary
Shift Manager at Cafe Rio Mexican Grill responsible for leading restaurant operations, coaching and developing a team of 15+ employees, driving guest satisfaction, training new staff, and ensuring smooth, high-quality service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You’ll learn to run a multimillion-dollar restaurant and advance through hands-on training, with opportunities for leadership development, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing 8+ hours, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is a plus, and candidates should be able to engage with customers and staff to deliver excellent dining experiences.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Proof of valid driver’s license
- Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs
- Stand for 8 plus hrs
- 2 or more years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry
- Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
