Job Summary
Manage daily floor operations across guest services, amenities, therapies, restaurant, and housekeeping to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient service flow. Be a visible leader on the floor, resolving issues in real time while coaching team members and providing real-time feedback. Direct staff to meet service standards, oversee department leads on scheduling and labor management, and handle guest questions, feedback, and complaints with professionalism. Open and close the facility, manage cash handling, and prepare end-of-shift notes and incident logs. Monitor cleanliness, safety, and maintenance needs, escalating issues promptly. Create and maintain written protocols, support new hires, and partner with the General Manager on team evaluations. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience in hospitality, wellness, spa, fitness, hotel, restaurant, or retail leadership
- Experience supervising and managing teams during active shifts (opening, closing, floor management, or similar)
- Strong people leadership skills — able to motivate, support, and hold teams accountable
- Calm under pressure, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Comfortable being highly visible on the floor as needed
- Proven ability to handle guest issues with empathy, composure, and follow-through
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and operational standards
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to ~25–30 lbs as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with scheduling, labor management, and daily reporting preferred
- Comfortable using POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic Google/Office tools
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
