Job Summary
Shift Manager position overseeing restaurant operations and directing team members during assigned shifts, with full accountability in the absence of management. Responsibilities include delivering outstanding guest service, training and coaching staff, leveraging AES systems to run the restaurant, enforcing cash and inventory controls, and setting goals for service, operations, and financial results. Requires leadership in areas such as restaurant operations, guest satisfaction, customer service, speed of service, quality control, workplace safety, and compliance with government regulations and food safety policies. Key skills include team leadership, coaching, emotional resilience, P&L awareness, cost control (food and labor), and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of integrity and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- ServSafe certification or capability to obtain certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience in restaurant operations and supervision
- Operations management and coaching skills
