Job Summary
The Shift Manager is responsible for providing leadership and exceptional customer service while ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently and compliant with company and government regulations. Key responsibilities include executing Speed of Service goals, resolving guest complaints, maintaining restaurant cleanliness, overseeing product preparation, and ensuring equipment functionality. The Shift Manager leads the restaurant team, provides constructive feedback, manages employee labor within compliance, and facilitates conflict resolution. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with a focus on achieving customer satisfaction and team productivity.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year Restaurant experience preferred with proven lead experience on all shifts
- Must be 18 years of age
- Shift Manager certified
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, driving record and state mandated insurance for positions that require driving
