Job Summary
Drive safety leadership, coordinate work schedules, and oversee day-to-day operations for the evening or weekend shift. Coach team members, complete Day One Onboarding, and utilize the skill matrix process to foster engagement and retention. Monitor production performance indicators, identify root causes of variances, and ensure compliance with Food Safety and (5S) expectations. Address conflicts promptly, mediate disputes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals. This role requires 3+ years of manufacturing experience and technical aptitude for mechanical systems and tooling.
Required Qualifications
- Preferred 3+ years of experience managing people in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred 1+ years of injection molding experience
- Excellent Leadership Skills including strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- The ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
- Technical aptitude basic understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) mechanical systems, tooling, & plastic manufacturing
- Experience with JDE system a plus
- The ability to interact with and train a diverse group of personnel
- Ability to work cross functionally
