Job Summary
Shift Lead positions responsible for the profitable operation of a specific shift under the General Manager, ensuring compliance with health and labor regulations, enforcing Firehouse Subs policies, leading restaurant team to deliver superior guest service and cleanliness, assisting GM with operational plans and company initiatives, participating in interviewing/hiring/training/disciplining under GM guidance, ensuring accuracy of required programs and reports, engaging in Public Safety Foundation initiatives, representing Firehouse Subs professionally, communicating issues to GM/Owner, and meeting the physical demands of the role (up to 13 hours on one's feet and lifting up to 50 lbs). The role involves leading shifts, maintaining profitability through control of food cost, labor, and other controllables, and upholding standards of service and safety, with opportunities including meal benefits while on shift.
