Job Summary
Shift Leader Trainee in Fernandina Beach, FL, training to advance to Shift Leader within ~90 days. Responsibilities include serving as Manager on Duty in training, opening and closing the store, assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with operations, delivering prompt and friendly guest service, operating a POS terminal with cash handling and coupon/discount procedures, maintaining training and product knowledge, coaching and directing team members, keeping the store and stockroom clean and organized, assisting with unloading deliveries, merchandising and displaying products per guidelines, providing gift-wrapping and carryout services, and performing other tasks as assigned. Requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and leadership experience or education in business management, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of proven experience and/or training in a management or leadership role
- At least 2 years of education from a college or technical school in Business Management or related field
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand
