Job Summary
Lead shifts by managing team dynamics, delegating tasks, and ensuring operational excellence across front and back of house. Open and close the restaurant as a key holder, handling setup, security, and cash management while conducting line checks to maintain food quality and safety standards. Actively engage with guests to address concerns, complete regulatory checklists, and resolve issues with urgency. Mentor team members through hiring and training, uphold recipe adherence and cleanliness protocols, and perform special projects as assigned. Requires supervisory experience, ServSafe certification, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a restaurant or similar environment
- Strong understanding of food safety, guest service, and restaurant operations
- Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds and to stand or walk for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish, a plus
- Experience in training, mentoring, and developing team members
- Familiarity with inventory and cash-handling processes
- Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
