Job Summary
Shift Leader at Taco Time NW leads supervisory duties in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsible for training staff, planning and directing work, evaluating daily performance, coaching and addressing guest concerns in the absence of a manager, while ensuring guest service and dining experience meet standards. Responsibilities include directing food preparation and service, issuing instructions, assigning duties, reconciling daily receipts, and enforcing safety and policies. Leads shift goals, monitors performance, and communicates with assistant general manager; offers competitive wages, benefits, and growth opportunities. Requires food handler permit, 18+ years, 3–6 months restaurant experience, strong teamwork and communication, ability to multitask, basic math, and ability to lift 10–50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Food handlers permit
- Three months to six months of practical experience in a corporate owned restaurant
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Highest commitment to quality customer service with the ability to work with a team
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills, and have the ability to listen attentively to guests and team members
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, always looks for ways to improve and promote quality
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, accomplish tasks without instruction and at times problem solve for the best solution
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to frequently move and/or lift product, containers etc from 10 to 50 pounds
