Job Summary
As a Shift Leader at United Dairy Farmers, you will be responsible for providing outstanding guest service and ensuring efficient store operations during your shift. Duties include managing guest experiences, overseeing the preparation of food items, operating the Point of Sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining store security, and keeping the store clean and organized. You must effectively communicate with guests, handle cash and transactions accurately, and meet various physical requirements related to the role.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively with customers
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment and check identification
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies
- Ability to handle coins, currency, and credit transactions accurately
- Ability to recognize numbers and complete required records
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to displays
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
