Job Summary
The Shift Leader at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for providing outstanding guest service, ensuring the store operates efficiently during their shift, and leading other associates in the absence of higher management. Responsibilities include managing guest interactions, operating the point of sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining security to prevent theft, ensuring a clean and organized store, and accurately completing reports. Candidates must effectively communicate in English, operate store equipment, handle cash transactions, and meet physical demands regarding temperature exposure and lifting.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies in the dip cabinets
- Ability to handle various transactions accurately
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and complete records
- Ability to move merchandise to proper displays
- Ability to clean surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to lift and place packages as described
