Job Summary
The Shift Leader is responsible for providing exceptional guest service in accordance with the UDF Hi Five Guest Experience, ensuring store readiness, and overseeing operations in the absence of a manager. Key responsibilities include managing guest services, operating the Point of Sale system, stocking merchandise, ensuring store security, maintaining cleanliness, and accurate reporting. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to handle various physical tasks, including lifting and working under different temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons, and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers and count accurately
- Ability to move merchandise and place for proper display
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to lift and move at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place a 21-pound package into a dip cabinet
