Job Summary
As the Shift Leader at United Dairy Farmers, you are responsible for delivering exceptional Guest service through the five phases of The Hi Five Guest Experience. Key duties include overseeing the store’s operation during your shift, ensuring compliance with company policies, providing assistance to Guests, managing the Point of Sale System, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store security and cleanliness. Applicants must be able to meet physical demands, handle transactions accurately, and have the ability to work in temperature-controlled environments.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to displays
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to various temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level
- Ability to place a package into a dip cabinet

- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales
