Job Summary
As a Shift Leader at United Dairy Farmers, you will provide outstanding guest service by following the Hi Five Guest Experience, ensuring a well-prepared store environment. Responsibilities include supervising operations in the absence of management, conducting cash transactions, managing product stocking, maintaining store security, and ensuring cleanliness and safety. Candidates must efficiently handle money, serve food products, and lift at least 21 pounds. Effective communication and the ability to operate store equipment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons, and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and perform arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8" x 10" x 10" package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet at a height of 3 feet
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales.
