Job Summary
The Shift Leader at United Dairy Farmers provides outstanding service by ensuring guests receive the Hi Five Guest Experience. Responsibilities include overseeing guest services, operating the Point of Sale System, stocking merchandise, maintaining security and cleanliness, and reporting accurate time records. Essential skills include effective communication, proficiency in operating store equipment, and the ability to handle financial transactions. This position requires the ability to lift merchandise and work in varying temperature conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment and check identification
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves/displays
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place a package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet

- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales
