Job Summary
The Shift Leader at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and adhering to company policies during their shift. Key responsibilities include ensuring the store is prepared for guests, managing points of sale transactions, stocking merchandise, maintaining store security, and ensuring cleanliness and safety of the store environment. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle cash transactions accurately, and the capacity to operate store equipment effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, and credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers, count, and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise and place it for display
- Ability to clean surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to low temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place packages into cabinets
