Job Summary
The Shift Leader is responsible for providing outstanding service to guests by ensuring the store is prepared and ready for customers at all times. Responsibilities include delivering the UDF Hi Five Guest Experience, managing dip preparation, operating the point of sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining security, overseeing store maintenance, and completing reporting tasks. Candidates must possess strong communication skills in English and be able to handle cash transactions accurately. Physical requirements include lifting, exposure to varying temperatures, and the ability to clean and organize store equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet

- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales
