Job Summary
The Shift Leader is responsible for providing exceptional Guest service at United Dairy Farmers by following the Hi Five Guest Experience. Key duties include overseeing point of sale operations, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, and ensuring compliance with laws regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively in English, operate store equipment, and handle monetary transactions. The role requires ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting merchandise and tolerating cold temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively with customers
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies
- Ability to handle various payment methods and make change accurately
- Ability to recognize numbers and do arithmetic for record-keeping
- Ability to move merchandise as required
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures
- Ability to lift and move specified weights
