Shift Leader

Shift Leaders are responsible for management of the processes and people needed to deliver great and friendly guest experience during their assigned shift. They oversee the preparation of products according to operational and quality standards and manage the service provided by the store team to deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders provide leadership, direction and coaching to Crew Members throughout their shift; assign crew positions, set shift expectations, motivate team members and provide timely feedback to correct deficiencies or reward success. Responsibilities include: building a positive team environment, arriving on time for shifts, promoting respect and dignity, following communication guidelines, directing team through tasks, deploying team members to meet guest needs, supporting training, communicating goals, driving urgency, monitoring quality/service/cleanliness, ensuring standards and marketing initiatives are executed, controlling labor/food costs and cash, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation policies, reporting equipment issues and performance feedback, and upholding policies. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, adherence to Brand and franchisee standards, safety, and the ability to learn multiple tasks. The position requires physical capability to lift 30-50 pounds and work with standard restaurant equipment; minimum age requirements may apply.
