Job Summary
Shift Leader for Potbelly Sandwich Shop responsible for leading a shift by managing and developing associates to deliver outstanding product quality and customer service, build sales, and control costs. Duties include leading team members, cash handling, enforcing health and safety standards, restocking, food safety certification compliance (Illinois within 30 days; national certifications otherwise), managing customer issues, and ensuring efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and have at least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
