Job Summary
The Shift Leader supervises shifts and/or work areas in a Papa John's restaurant, ensuring high quality products and excellent customer service. Responsibilities include managing restaurant operations, adhering to company policies, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. The role involves executing cash management duties, maintaining product quality, managing inventory, and providing immediate feedback to team members. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years old, and possess a stable employment history. Experience in restaurant shift leadership is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
- Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred
- Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred
