Job Summary
The Shift Leader supervises shifts and/or work areas in a Papa John’s restaurant, ensuring high quality products and customer service that drive restaurant profitability. Responsibilities include adhering to operational guidelines, managing inventory levels, executing all company policies, and maintaining restaurant compliance with laws and ethical practices. Shift Leaders must provide immediate feedback to staff, uphold product quality, customer service standards, and contribute to profit goals using the FOCUS system. Effective communication, planning, and prioritization skills are necessary, along with a commitment to customer-centric values.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
- Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification
- Previous restaurant shift lead experience
