Job Summary
The Shift Leader supervises shifts and/or work areas in a Papa John's restaurant, ensuring high-quality products and excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include adherence to operational guidelines, management of company policies, compliance with laws, maintaining product quality, and contributing to profitability goals. The role requires effective communication, planning and prioritization skills, and is suited for candidates with restaurant management experience. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, food service certifications, and a background in shift leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
- Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-Safe certification
- Local or State Food Service Certification
- Previous restaurant shift lead experience
