Job Summary
Oversee restaurant operations in the absence of management; adhere to security measures, policies, procedures, and safety practices; ensure standard compliance, sanitation, and proper preparation, portioning, and presentation of menu items. Complete training courses; when manager is absent, fill or assign positions as needed. Embody and promote Denny’s values. Added duties as assigned by Manager/GM. Roles include guest check validation, cash register duties, balancing readings, and maintaining operation during peak hours. Requires extensive standing, exposure to heat/cold, irregular hours, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and a guest-oriented demeanor. Commitment to health regulations and anti-discrimination policies; drug-free workplace and training compliance.
