Job Summary
Shift Leader at MFA Petroleum Company Break Time convenience store: assists with store operations, supervises shifts, supports banking and inventory activities, conducts daily reporting and bookkeeping, promotes food service and safety programs, executes merchandising and promotions, trains new employees, and maintains effective customer service and communications. Requires strong math skills, the ability to handle cash and inventory, lead a team, and comply with policies and procedures; includes responsibilities across customer service, transactions, loss control, and ensuring clean, well-maintained facilities. Prefers high school diploma or GED and prior management or retail sales experience; must be legally authorized to work in the US and able to pass background and drug checks.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Flexible availability including all shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change and complete shift reports
- Pre-employment background check and drug test
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Prior management/leadership experience (preferred)
- Experience in retail sales (preferred)
