Job Summary
Shift Leader at MFA Petroleum Company for Break Time convenience stores. Responsible for assisting management with store operations, shift supervision, financial duties (banking, cash handling, audits), inventory and merchandising, training new employees, and delivering fast, friendly customer service. Requires ability to supervise during shifts, adhere to policies, perform cash and inventory tasks, promote food service and safety, operate POS and other tech, and communicate professionally with customers and team. Must be 18+, have a valid license, be able to pass background check and drug test, and be able to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays. Prefer high school diploma or GED and prior management/retail experience; legal authority to work in the United States.”,
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with adequate transportation to/from bank
- Flexible availability which may include all shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change, complete shift reports, and account for numbers of products during vendor check in
- Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Ability to perform assigned duties with accuracy and with minimal supervision
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate accurately and effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
