Job Summary
Shift Leader at Jersey Mike's Subs is responsible for supporting the management team in running the location, coaching staff to deliver outstanding customer service, producing high-quality food, handling cash, participating in staff training and LMS programs, developing others for career growth, enforcing policies, participating in local and national marketing initiatives, building sales, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring efficient operations. The role emphasizes leadership in a fast-paced restaurant environment, customer service excellence, team development, and adherence to food safety standards. Flexible hours with weekend availability, and opportunities for advancement are highlighted within a friendly team atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months restaurant experience (preferred)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Available to open or close the store, as business needs dictate
- Ability to obtain ServSafe certification
- Be able to stand for long periods of time; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
