Job Summary
Shift Leader responsibilities include coaching staff to deliver excellent customer service, producing high-quality food, ensuring Jersey Mike’s experience, cash handling, following LMS training, developing others for career growth, enforcing policies, participating in marketing initiatives, building sales, maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation, being certified in all four restaurant roles, effective communication, urgency, opening/closing duties, baking bread and prep, leading a crew of 2-5, proficient slicing, and delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. The role requires leading by example in quality and integrity, ensuring accountability, and coordinating with store management (GM/AGM/DM). The position emphasizes adherence to high standards of food quality, service, and store operations in a Jersey Mike’s franchise setting.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school degree or equivalent
- Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer
