Job Summary
Shift Leader in core manufacturing center (3 shifts) overseeing shift order execution, coordinating work plans, training and cross-training team members, ensuring operators have materials to complete tasks, monitoring production outputs and on-time delivery, backfilling for vacations/illnesses/machine outages, resolving technical/quality/logistics issues, and reporting data in Excel. Requires 5-10 years of manufacturing/blue-collar management and at least 5 years of shift leadership, with an associate degree or vocational training; mechanical/technical background preferred; ability to work across 3 shifts; strong communication and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in the manufacturing and blue-collar management
- Min 5 years of shift leadership experience
- 2 years associate degree or vocational school graduation
- Mechanical departments and technical high school graduation are an asset
- Sheet steel processing experience is highly preferred
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in 3 shifts
