Job Summary
Shift Leader at Caribou Coffee oversees store operations in partnership with the GM/ACGM, guiding the team to achieve goals, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold SOP/quality standards. Responsibilities include leading shifts with a focus on team engagement and guest connections, driving product sales and waste management, maintaining the store’s look and feel, effective on-floor communication, delegating tasks, coaching team members, handling administrative duties (bank deposits, inventory, product orders), and supporting career growth for staff. The role emphasizes ownership of shift-to-shift continuity, resilience under pressure, inclusive leadership, and delivering a joyful, service-oriented store culture in alignment with Caribou’s core values. Requirements include 1+ year of leadership or relevant experience, availability for early mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays, and being 18+. Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience required, or properly trained and approved by Caribou Coffee to take responsibility as a Shift Leader
- Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
