Job Summary
Shift Leader at Caribou Coffee responsible for the overall store leadership in partnership with the General Manager or Assistant GM. Focuses on ensuring the team understands goals, expectations, products, cleanliness, and guest connections; leads shifts to drive team engagement and guest satisfaction; manages daily operations, training, coaching, and development; ensures SOPs and quality standards are followed; handles administrative tasks (bank deposits, inventory, product orders); fosters an inclusive, energetic store culture and ownership mindset while supporting career growth for team members.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience required, or properly trained and approved by Caribou Coffee to take responsibility as a Shift Leader
