Job Summary
Shift Leader at Einstein Bros. Bagels collaborates with the General Manager to motivate the team, coach members, and set the morale and tone. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store with minimal supervision, ensuring quality of food and beverages, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and delivering a great guest experience. The role supports leadership development and growth opportunities within the company; hours may include early mornings and weekends, with no evenings or nights as stated in benefits/shift expectations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, ServSafe certification prior to leadership training, and can include driving-license requirements where location-specific.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
- Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
- Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations)
