Job Summary
Shift Leader at Caribou Coffee responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the store in partnership with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. Leads shifts focused on team engagement and guest satisfaction, oversees SOP and quality standards, trains Team Members on responsibilities and product knowledge, manages administrative tasks (bank deposits, inventory, store product orders), and fosters an inclusive, growth-oriented culture aligned with Caribou's core values. The role requires ensuring execution of daily objectives, coaching in the moment, and taking ownership of the shift and, when applicable, the subsequent shift; expects 1 year of leadership/restaurant/retail or equivalent experience and availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. It is located at the Zimmerman, MN store with an hourly pay range of $12.75-$21.25, and Caribou Coffee is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience required, or properly trained and approved by Caribou Coffee to take responsibility as a Shift Leader
- Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Physical requirements: hearing, speaking, seeing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing 4-8 hours, etc.
