Job Summary
Shift Leader at Bruegger's Bagels who collaborates with the General Manager to motivate the team, provide coaching and feedback, and uphold guest experience. Responsible for opening/closing with minimal supervision, ensuring food quality and a safe, clean store environment, and supporting leadership development—with opportunities for growth. Must be able to work varied hours including early mornings; responsibilities include maintaining standards, training, and contributing to a positive work atmosphere. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, being 18+, ability to pass background checks, ServSafe certification before leadership training completion, and a valid driver’s license (where required).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to work varied hours/days including early hours (as early as 3am) and weekends
- Must pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
- Must possess, or be able to acquire, ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
- Possession of a current, valid state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet driving qualifications as required by Company policy
