Job Summary
Shift Leader collaborates with the General Manager to motivate the team, coach members, and ensure quality of food and a clean, safe store. Opens and closes the store with minimal supervision, helps set morale and tone, provides feedback, and supports career growth. Role includes early hours with no evenings or nights, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement within Bagel Brands. Benefits include PTO after 90 days, tips, EAP resources, 401K with company match, and ongoing training; ServSafe certification required prior to leadership training; a valid driver’s license is preferred at some locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to work varied hours/days including early hours (as early as 3am) and weekends
- Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
- Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
- Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (preferred but not always required) and meet driving qualifications as required by Company policy
