Job Summary
The Shift Leader at Caribou Coffee takes overall leadership and direction of the store while partnering with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring team clarity on goals and expectations, leading shifts focused on team engagement and guest satisfaction, maximizing product sales and managing waste, coaching team members, performing administrative tasks, and developing career conversations with staff. The role demands resilience under pressure, owning the decision-making as Manager on Duty, and promoting an inclusive culture.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of leadership experience
- Restaurant, retail or customer service experience
- Ability to work varying hours including early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
