Job Summary
Shift Leader oversees daily restaurant operations, opening/closing procedures, supervises and guides shift performance, maintains food quality, service standards, and cleanliness per company policies and health regulations; multitasks across cooking orders, prepares batches of food, operates batch machines and large-volume cooking equipment (grills, deep fryers); hires, trains, mentors, and evaluates team members with regular feedback, and stays informed about market trends to enhance competitive positioning. Demonstrates leadership, accountability, and effective communication to deliver exceptional guest service under pressure; must read, write, and speak English fluently; physical demands include standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working around hot equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old
- Previous restaurant experience
- Must have current Food Handler’s card (Maricopa & Pinal counties only)
- Must achieve Food Protection Manager certification within 90 days of hire and maintain
