Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager with management activities and is responsible for ensuring that Crew Persons and Team Leaders perform their job responsibilities effectively. Key duties include providing quality customer service, maximizing sales, adhering to company policies, and encouraging shared values within the team. Candidates should have 2-3 years of restaurant management experience, excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong organizational abilities. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with additional bi-lingual skills considered a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of experience in restaurant management
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
- A telephone or other reliable method of communicating with the restaurant
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
