Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager in managing restaurant activities, ensures crew performance meets expectations, and strives for customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include maximizing sales and profits, complying with company policies, and enhancing team performance. Applicants should have 2-3 years in restaurant management, strong communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. A high school diploma is required, along with excellent planning and time management abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two to three years of experience and/or education in restaurant management
- High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license
- Access to a telephone or reliable communication method
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
