Job Summary
The Shift Leader position involves assisting the General Manager or Person In Charge with management duties and ensuring all Crew Persons and Team Leaders perform their responsibilities effectively. Essential functions include providing quality customer service, improving team performance, complying with company policies, and communicating effectively. Candidates must have 2-3 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong planning and problem-solving skills, and reliable transportation. This role also requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of experience and/or education demonstrating knowledge of restaurant management
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Telephone or other reliable method of communication
- Accessible to meet the restaurant’s needs
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual skills a plus
Additional Requirements
- Must stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 – 75 lbs. comfortably
- Must work in fast-paced environment around heat
