Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager with management activities, working with the Restaurant Management Team to uphold the restaurant’s business plan. Key responsibilities include ensuring quality product delivery and customer satisfaction, enhancing Crew performance, supporting sales maximization, and leading shift activities. Candidates should have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build effective teams. Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 lbs, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of experience in restaurant management
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Telephone or other reliable method of communicating
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
