Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager or Person In Charge with management activities, ensuring all Crew Persons and Team Leaders meet job expectations. Responsibilities include providing quality products and customer service, improving crew performance, maximizing sales and minimizing costs, and complying with company policies. Key qualifications include a high school diploma, 2-3 years of relevant experience, planning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. The role requires reliable transportation and accessibility to restaurant needs.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of any combination of experience and/or education in restaurant management
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Telephone or other reliable method of communicating with the restaurant
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual skills a plus
