Job Summary
The Shift Leader assists the General Manager in managing restaurant activities, ensuring adherence to business plans and performance expectations of Crew Persons and Team Leaders. Key responsibilities include providing quality customer service, improving team skills, maximizing sales and profits, and complying with company policies. Critical skills include planning, time management, team building, problem-solving, and the ability to troubleshoot cash handling issues. A high school diploma is required, alongside 2-3 years of relevant experience in restaurant management.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of restaurant management
- High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team building skills
- Investigative and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
- Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Telephone or other reliable method of communication with the restaurant
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual skills a plus
