Job Summary

The Shift Leader assists the General Manager in managing restaurant operations, working closely with the management team to ensure high-quality customer service and team performance. Responsibilities include maximizing sales and profits, complying with company policies, attending training sessions, and participating in meetings. Candidates must have two to three years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong planning and organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Approximately two (2) to three (3) years of experience and/or education in restaurant management
  • High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Team building skills
  • Investigative and problem solving skills
  • Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Telephone or other reliable method of communication with the restaurant

Desired Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual skills a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot cash handling problems
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results
